Shedding Light on the Beauty of Adoption

Sixteen times, my family has gotten “the call” that a baby has been born. Sixteen times, we have packed a bag, put the car seat in the car, and brought home a baby that a birth mom so selflessly chose to be loved by another family. Sixteen times, we have allowed ourselves to unconditionally fall in love with a child that we know is meant to be someone else’s. And sixteen times, we have placed a baby in the arms of a family who has waited, prayed, and hoped for this moment with every ounce of their being. Foster care is filled with a lot of unknowns, a mixture of joy and heartache, and more reward than I can ever put into words. 

Since I have had the privilege of having a small part in a much bigger story, it has been an honor to be able to capture families meeting their children for the very first time.

I am excited to be offering sessions that go beyond the babies that we bring home and start offering adoption sessions to all families who are adopting.

How it works

Since my family stays “on call” for placements, this will work the same way. If you are a family who has received the best call of your life and needs a photographer, I am your girl! I will work hard to work with your schedule and do my very best to be there when you meet your child. If for some reason our schedules do not align, I also offer in home family sessions with your newly adopted child.
